About me
“At the end of the day, the end of the week, at the end of my life, I want to say that I contributed more than I criticized.” - Brené Brown
My story
Hi, I’m Sheryl. I'm a designer, brander, painter, jewelry designer, organizer, mom, and friend. I create strategic campaigns, plan amazing events, and have fun doing it.
I'm passionate about design and creativity. Relationships are key, and I value a strong network.
Let's talk design, explore the Enneagram, or share your favorite Etsy artist.
What I do
Branding
Whether you already have brand guidelines or need a hand creating them, count me in! I'm all about making sure your brand stays consistent without getting dull. I blend the latest trends with solid design principles to connect with all sorts of audiences.
Event Detailing
I can handle everything from trade show booth designs to bathroom mirror clings - you name it! One of my proud moments was designing a sailboat sail that turned heads at a conference center in San Diego.
Marketing Collateral
While I'm pretty savvy with digital media, my heart truly belongs to print. Let's chat about your next social media campaign or get creative with a direct mail piece that excites the senses.
Presentations
Let's be honest, not everyone is a Ted Talk speaker. My aim is to design visually appealing presentations that boost the presenter's confidence, convey the presenters message, and raise the presenters status with the audience - no matter how strong their speaking skills might be.
What I've been up to
20+ Year Career in Medical Device
I started out as a Marketing Communications Manager where I introduced the idea of an in-house creative department, handled the planning and budgeting, and got approval from higher-ups. I built and managed the team, established processes, and oversaw the department's operations. Check out my LinkedIn profile.
Agency Experience
My first design experience was with a local advertising agency in Florida, where we focused on small businesses and state projects. I was the sole web designer but also worked on print projects. My favorite project was creating a children's coloring book for the local transit bus system.
Instructional Designer
My first career was in Instructional Design for aircraft pilot training. After graduate school, I joined Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to design online courses. There, I met a Graphic Designer and realized my passion for design. I pursued a two-year degree in Graphic Design, and the rest is history.
Jewelry Designer
Jewelry design is my artistic outlet. I stumbled upon silver metal clay at a local class, and it sparked my passion. Stay tuned for the opening of my Etsy store. It might take me six months or six years, but it will happen.
